Filmmaker Christy Hui takes you behind-the-scenes of her upcoming documentary
9 Dragons Tea, filmed in the historic tea region of Wuyi Shan, China. This film reveals the untold story of how Oolong and Black Teas were created by local tea-masters after centuries of exquisite tea-making fit for emperors, and the captivating saga of tea's epic journey into Europe, America and the rest of the world. Author and tea historian Bruce Richardson appears in the film. He will share how Wuyi teas were dumped into Boston Harbor in 1773, as this momentus event launched America's War of Independence from British rule. Join Hui and Richardson as they share clips from the documentary and discuss the impact of Wuyi teas on world culture, economics, and politics.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A and mingling with the speakers during this fun and informative get-together.
