A lifelong tea lover, Christy Hui spent two and half years crafting 9 Dragons Tea, a documentary film unearthing tea’s origins, history, and mysteries.
“The project is akin to putting together an ancient puzzle, spanning six major Chinese dynasties, five centuries, and in two languages,” said Ms. Hui, who grew up watching her father drink Gong Fu Tea. She is also known as the Creator/ Producer of Xiaolin Showdown, an Emmy-awarded animated TV series produced by Warner Brothers Animation.
